Friday 30 January 2015: Newly formed Quebee Den (Pvt) Ltd, which offers original Sri Lankan wholesome baby and toddler foods, unveils its new product, 'Toddler – Snack Puffs’' to its line of baby foods at this year's Baby & You Family Fair Exhibition, January 30, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH).
The newest addition, 'Toddler Snack' which is manufactured at Cerestar (Pvt) Ltd, is especially designed for children over 12 months old and who are accustomed to chewing solid food is now available to purchase at www.quebeeden.com and soon be in all leading supermarkets.
The toddler snack is a new line of great-tasting Crispy Fruit Chews that delivers a delicious banana and apple flavor with an intriguing crunch from crisped rice flour, corn flour and wheat flour. Each comes in a pouch that makes it easy for children to enjoy and convenient for parents.
The bites, which comes as balls are perfectly sized for toddler hands and enriched with nutrients even for the little fussy eater. .​
“We wanted the product to be healthy and also have the ability to teach the child, hand-eye coordination and independence by self-eating in a happy and fun environment, ,”Chairman / MD of Quebee Den (Pvt) Ltd, Rohanthi Wijewickrema said.
The young entrepreneur Wijewickrama also said, “ ‘Toddler Snack’ is free from preservatives, and we wanted to ensure the quality of the product is at its top most level, That is why my 1 and half year old son approved the product.. If it’s safe and good for him, it’s good for everyone else”
“This past year, we've taken unique combinations of wholesome ingredients and created tasty new recipes which further advance Quebee Den's new entry in baby and toddler snacks and meals.” she said.
She said that they had introduced new child food as an extension for the ‘bellybees,’ a ready to eat infant food launched last August. The ‘bellybees,’ Sri Lanka’s first ever ready to eat infant food designed for children between six and eighteen months are also available at leading supermarkets in the country and comes in Apple, Mango and Papaya puree’s.
